So we went back in to the arenas last night and boy, what a difference! We went from being a 1 and 9 team to being a 10 and 3 team. There were a couple teams that just tore us up, but for the most part we just kicked some pure ass. It was pwnage! There was one team that had three druids and a couple of other classes. When the dust settled, there was Shav with 5 killing blows.
There was one other encounter that really sticks out for me. I'm not sure how it happened, but each team had four members dead, so there was just me and a Rogue. I'm sure you're thinking "But Shav, you're just a squishy cloth wearing priest! A Rogue wears leather, has a lot of agility and will just stab you in the face!!". Fear not my friends, or wait, maybe have a little fear for the Rogue. I managed to fear him, DoT him up (and again after he used cloak of shadows), then proceeded to do what Shadow Priests do best: Melt Faces. I was in the zone! I can't remember what was being said on Vent at the time, but all I can remember doing is fearing, running, DoTting my heart out and Mind Flaying to keep facing the Rogue. There was no way I was going to let him see my back! I remembered that I had a health stone, used that and then realized that I was completely out of mana! He had a full compliment of DoTs, so all I did was outrun him for a bit, fear him a couple times and let my DoTs do their work. End result? Dead Rogue, triumphant No QQ.
